February was a very strange month for real estate. Prices varied widely, positively and negatively, versus last February. Days on the market were mostly down, while the number of sales was generally higher. In every single market, inventory was lower than last year, in several markets over 25% lower than last year. April’s statistics may be even lower as it seems like new listings in April were less than in March. Homes are still selling at a fast pace, but lenders are getting cold feet despite the Federal Reserve backing loans, so move fast and stay strong! Check out your neighborhood below.
