Things are still pretty tight in terms of inventory despite rising prices and inventory. Our National Association of Realtors Cheif Economist, Lawrence Yun, puts this down the very high levels of employment, and we are certainly seeing that in this area. However, he predicts that increasing new construction and more homeowners considering listing, we may have the makings of a buyer’s market. According to a recent NAR survey, 50% of respondents strongly indicate it is a good time to sell, compared to 28% 2 years ago.
