Prices continue to rise in most markets. Those few markets that did not see an increase over last year are typically small volumes of sales and therefore more statistically volatile. Days on the market is generally lower than last year with tight inventory in many markets. Hopefully the spring will see sufficient inventory to unblock this but as northern VA continues to attract new people into the workforce, it doesn’t seem that new home building is catching up!
