Here in Loudoun County, we love brunch. There’s no shortage of places to dine during those magic hours between morning and afternoon, and there’s certainly something for everyone. Here are a few of my favorite brunch spots throughout Loudoun County.

Buford’s Biscuits
Biscuits are a staple of southern cooking, and at Buford’s, you’ll satisfy all of your carb cravings. Not only can you get biscuits with flights of seasonal jams or gravies, you can also choose from a variety of hearty biscuit sandwiches and sweets.

The Bungalow Lakehouse
For brunch at The Bungalow Lakehouse, you can come on Saturday, Sunday, or both! Not only is the food delicious, the scenery is amazing, too. Take a seat on the patio to get a view of the lake from which this sprawling restaurant gets its name. Ever had a breakfast pizza? Here, you can — their version has scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and two different types of cheeses.

First Watch
First Watch has a large and extremely diverse menu, which makes it the go-to spot for any and all brunch desires on any day of the week. They focus on fresh, organic, locally-sourced foods, which makes this a prime destination for the more health-focused folks out there. However, there are plenty of dishes to indulge in as well, if you’re looking to spoil yourself.

Market Table Bistro
For the foodies who love locally sourced ingredients, take a trip out to the historic town of Lovettesville on either Saturday or Sunday. Market Table Bistro prides itself on working with local farmers and suppliers to bring you the best dining experiences. Some unique dishes on the brunch menu include the chilled cucumber and avocado soup, and the mushroom and brie omelette.

Harrimans Virginia Piedmont Grill
On Sundays, you can indulge in a three course brunch at Salamander Resort & Spa. Harriman’s is an upscale dining experience, so reservations are highly recommended. Some of the items you can find on the menu include carrot cake french toast, roasted tenderloin, and miniature avocado toasts. Harriman’s is a lovely, lavish place to celebrate those important milestones in life.

West End Wine Bar & Pub
On Sundays, West End opens their wine bar for brunch. You’ll see a lot of dishes you’re probably familiar with, and several that are souped-up twists on old classics. Shrimp and grits? They’ve got shrimp and grits with Andouille sausage. There’s also an impressive cocktail and dessert menu to peruse.
